Had my film friday today, and despire my attempts to pack in 3 films I only managed two. Saw Leap Year for a bit of fluff and The Lovely Bones just coz I thought I should. Visited BBC TV centre yesterday for a work thing and saw no celebs at all. But on my way outside I spotted a TARDIS surrounded by a gaggle of people and that made my day.

Even the whiff of something scifi makes me a happy girl. :) And it's almost time for the Winchester boys to pop round too...

It's rare these days that I actually do something enjoyable at work (been there too long, need to move on yadda yadda yadda) but this week I did.

Am so freaking out about all the money I've been spending recently. Please think happy thoughts for Saturday and make my car pass it's MOT without any hassle. Pretty please.

Have spent the day reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and am now feeling emotionally drained. Really enjoyed it (especially compared to the last 2 books), and now wondering how the hell it's going to be translated onto the big screen. Maybe Michael Bay needs to have a go at this one?

It's been a long time since real life got in the way of keeping up with fandom. Thankfully, the real life stuff that's kept me away has been wonderful - leading up to a gorgeous wedding. I managed to fall down 2 steps in my house on Monday night and have spent the last few days on ice in bed. Ankle v swollen and painful. Went to the hospital today and started freaking out that I'd broken something when I sat in a wheelchair waiting to be x-rayed ( Read more... )

I bowled so badly it was hilarious.
I sang karaoke like my life depended on it (and I think Livin' on a Prayer is now categorically MY song).
